I have been using and selling this item for about 5 years now. Last year I had a major power surge at home that literally fried every surge protector that I had plugged in around the place (including 3 Isobars & a battery back-up/surge protector) the only electronics that survived were the ones that were plugged into the Isobars. Those Isobars were burned to a crisp inside, but they did the job when everything else failed to stop the surge from getting through to blow out the electronics that were plugged into them.
