I have about seven of these in service. I had an electronics workshop and office with 107 total plugs... mostly little wall-warts, so total load was not an issue, but I needed more outlets than was "reasonable". I had eight new permanent outlets installed high on the wall, then used a crate of these 15' 10-fers (plus a couple $150 server-rack 24-outlet strips) to get power on bench and desk. None of them gave any trouble.
I agree the build-quality is only good, not perfect... the other reviewer should have exchanged the defective item for another, which would probably be fine.
