This unit is really good at what it does. For its cost (on Amazon/Half) it is pretty much impossible to find a comparable unit. The only downside of this unit is that the battery backup has trouble providing sufficient power to high-draw devices. The two battery backed-up sockets were unable to operate my computer and monitor. However, considering the size and power draw of both items, it isn't exactly surprising, I just would have been thoroughly excited if the device could sustain that power draw through the battery backup. Otherwise, I have no complaints. After having spent nearly a thousand dollars each year to repair broken equipment in my house, I decided to try out some premium power protection. I have not had any issues since I got this and have noticed an increase in the performance of my power-sensitive devices. Obviously this will not improve the operation of devices with power converters, but it will ensure that any such devices aren't damaged by bad power. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has experienced power issues in their home, or for anyone who rents and can never be sure about the quality of the power in their residence.
